We have a host of regular activities held at the centre. These include:
We hold sessions every Thursday evening and Sunday morning led by a qualified Yoga instructor. The class size is approximately 15, and starts with various warm-up exercises, followed by specific asanas (postures) as well as breathing (pranayama) and mediation practice.
These are conducted on various weekdays, and are led by qualified instructors. The classes include Computing for Seniors, Basic Computer Skills and the European Computer Driving Licence (EDCL) modules
Held every Friday evening for children with disabilities. We review our activities regularly and plan on adding more as resources and funding allows and welcome suggestions for future activities. For more information about the above classes, please contact the centre.
For some time now, we have been archiving newspaper articles and clippings as well as any other material of interest on the subject of Asians in Harrow. This is a unique archive recording the history and achievements of the people of South Asian sub-continent origin residing in the Harrow and neighbouring areas.
We have some of the content on-line at www.asiansinharrow.org
